Courtisane, (K-RAA-K)³ and Arts Centre Vooruit present the sixth edition of the courtisane festival.
Courtisane welcomes an audience hungry for unconventional audiovisual work. People who are looking for inspiration are offered visions on society and filmmaking. The festival’s backbone is a selection of film and video – a mix of fiction, experiment, documentary, animation and crossover, with an eye for innovative creative processes and future trends and perspectives. Courtisane presents 60 shorts and medium-length features.
Together with our partners Vooruit and (K-RAA-K)³ we explore the common ground between film and video, live performance, music and visual arts. The sixth edition also features an exhibition with video and media art, a young talent’s lab for audiovisual creation, a dance performance, a lively DJ VJ set and (audiovisual) concerts.
